The Virginia Power Boat Association (VPBA) has been in in continuous operation since it was founded in 1939. The VPBA is a non-profit organization, run by volunteer members who are dedicated to its purpose and mission of being family fun oriented, power boating aligned with a focus on boating safety.

The club has over one thousand family members and is located on the upper James River at its 19 acre facility.

Our club is based on respect. Respect for Fellow Members, Respect for Club Property, Respect for the Rules, respect for the river and respect for the rights of all individuals to have open and unfettered rights to use of the river at all times.
